NEW Chiptunes Every Tuesday!!

Chiptune Drum Corps Specials

Chiptuesday Special 2 (1,000 Subscribers!)

To celebrate reaching 1,000 subscribers on YouTube I thought I would make a cover for the first drum corps show I ever saw, Tilt. I know it has already been done before but they didn't get the pitch bends right and I think I finally figured out how to get them to sound good.

Chiptuesday special 1

Oops did someone say they where finished making chiptune drum corps videos? Well I wasn’t, and I decided to go ahead and make Ghostlight. It was a really fun show. I don’t know if I am going to make any more though so don’t get your hopes up.

Chiptune Drum Corps (Chiptuesday Season 1)

Chiptuesday Season 1 Episode 10

And finally the last Chiptune Drum Corps has arrived. When I started this project I knew this one was on the list. It’s one of my favorite shows of the past few years. The arrangement of Thank You Scientist’s Psychopomp is perfect for a corps with as much energy as the Bluecoats that year. I also saw this show live and let me tell you it was SPICY.

Chiptuesday Season 1 Episode 9

I remember this show being a big hit with the fans. It had great music with a solid theme. It was really fun to try and translate some of the sounds into 8bit. Bonus points if you can tell me which game I got the gun sound from.

Chiptuesday Season 1 Episode 8

One of the very first drum corps shows I ever watched so I knew I had to do this for Chiptune Drum Corps. Every minute of this show is incredubly catchy and I find my self humming sections all day after watching it. May favorite part is how “Be Italian” sounds in this chiptune remake.

Chiptuesday Season 1 Episode 7

Another one made off of a incomplete score. I picked this one because I liked Corpse Bride and I am so ready for spooky season. What I didn’t expect is how much I like the “Unchained Melody” part. Honestly a beautiful way to end a show and the chiptune doesn’t do it justice.

Chiptuesday Season 1 Episode 6

Yeah sure this one didn’t live up to the one that came out before it but I don’t care. Ink was still a really good show. I especially like the way the Sweeney Todd part sounds in this.

Chiptuesday Season 1 Episode 5

Definitely the most popular chiptune I’ve ever done. To be honest Kinetic Noise really lends itself well to being a chiptune. This may be my favorite one to listen to, and if view counts are anything to go by, many people agree with me.

Chiptuesday Season 1 episode 4

If you thought I made this just so I could hear the trombone part, then you would be right. This show didn’t have a full score online but I had to do it to hear “Blow It Up, Start again” in 8-bit.

Chiptuesday Season 1 Episode 3

One of the most influential shows for modern drum corps Down Side Up was a hit. No one will ever forget the wink that shook the entire drum corps community.

Chiptuesday Season 1 Episode 2

I was also able to see this show live at Drums Along the Rockies. The ending really made the crowed jumped to their feet.

Chiptuesday Season 1 Episode 1

The first chiptune drum corps cover I ever made. I had the pleasure of seeing this show live at Lucas Oil. I really like the way the “My Body is a Cage” part sounds in 8-bit.
