The Crap collection

In the fall of 2018 I took an intro level game design class at my college. In the class we used the software Gamemaker Studio 2 to make very simple 2D games. Throughout the class we had a total of 5 game projects. Below you can find said games, I like to call them the Creatively Restrained Academic Projects also known as the CRAP Collection.

Foot-Eye Adventures

The last project for my game development class was to make a platformer.  I sat around wondering what to make until I decided to base it off the Foot-Eye.  The Foot-Eye is a little creature my Dad made up when I was young.  He would draw pictures of it and place them in my lunch box.  Now the foot eye will live on in the messy little platformer I made for school.

Woah . . . Space BATTLE

This one was due on October 31st, how spooky. I had to make a competitive multiplayer game. To save my self the heart ache of creating an entirely new game I opted to use the majority of my previous game. I added a second ship, and that’s pretty much it.

Woah . . . Space

On October 15th 2018 my third game project was due. It was supposed to be a cooperative multiplayer game… so I made asteroids. The idea was that one person would control the ship and the other would control the gun. You could just play by yourself Idk it’s pretty bad

Alien

I made this for the second assignment of my game development class.  I had a really ambitious idea for a top down stealth game based on the alien franchise.  Kind of like a pixel art version of Alien Isolation.  I worked really hard the weekend leading up to the due date but realized I had bitten off more than I could chew and had to take many features out just so I can have it finished and turn in.  I plan on continuing to work on this game and bring back all the features I had to take out.

Death Island

On September 5th 2018 my first game project was due in my game design class at college.  We where told if we based it off a song we would get extra points.  Thus I made a very basic one room top down shooter based off of Rachmanioff's Isle of the Dead.  For my first game, I am happy with how it turned out.
